Introduction to Injection Therapy Workshop
2-Day Workshop for Practitioners — 2023
"SATURDAY & SUNDAY" PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
June 3rd & 4th, 2023 — 9:00am to 5:00pm

Michael Young has been offering classes training LAcs how to do injection therapy since 2005.

A TA (Teacher's Assistant) will be available.

The lecture portion of the class is about 3 to 4 hours and focuses on basic syringe technique.
Like any modality, Injection Therapy is not for every practitioner or practice. If it is suited for you, however, this class will provide you with ample supervised practice time to allow you to become comfortable and confident in the basic procedure(s).
The practical portion of the class (the remainder) is a hands-on approach with the goal being to provide an introduction to the most common trigger points and how to inject them, as well as basic training in cosmetic injection therapy (applicable for wrinkles, stretch marks, etc.).
SIZE LIMIT: This is a “hands-on” workshop. Class size has a limited number of attendees (about 15) in order to allow enough supervision time for each participant in a non-rushed spirit.
CLASS DETAILS
COST: $650 licensed practitioners; $500 for students (with a 10% ACC discount available).

Discounts: Licensed Acupuncturists can receive a 10% discount if they are AAC (Acupuncture Association of Colorado) members.

Cost includes: needles, syringes, and injectables for practice during the class, handouts, etc., as well as a certificate of completion (upon request). The cost includes a class"starter kit" with the basics needed to perform biopuncture. Course PDA’s are available (NCCAOM).

HOW TO ENROLL: Spaces are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
Inquiry as to whether there is space available can be made by phone or email. In order to confirm enrollment please send a check for the tuition amount.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to the nature of this class (i.e. a limited number of participants) the cancellation policy is as follows: if within ONE MONTH then a full refund will be given, if LESS THAN one month then it depends on whether the spot can be filled or not. If either of us fills the spot with a new student then a full refund will be given. If it is too late or for some other reason the spot is not able to be filled then the tuition is not refundable.
